Boss & Co’s flagship series: BARBELLE now in it’s second season can be seen worldwide on Amazon Prime, Bell Fibe TV1, Revry, and Shaftesbury’s KindaTV. The first season of BARBELLE has played multiple international festivals including the Cannes MipTv Festival, where it was nominated for best LGBTQ+ series, Stareable Fest NYC, The Pilot Light TV Festival UK, T.O Webfest, Bilbao Seriesland, Buenos Aires Web Fest, and more. The Second Season is slated for release in April 2019.
Boss & Co’s has produced several short films which have been recognized at numerous international film festivals. Executive Director Karen Knox’s directorial debut, Case of the Massey Bodice Ripping, won best short film at both the Venice Short Film Festival (2018) and the Grand Budapest Film Festival (2019). The Fates, described as a feminist horror fable was selected for the TIFF X Instagram Official competition at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2018. Damage Control, a short film examining the effect of sexual misconduct allegations on the offender’s intimate circle, is now being developed into a six part half hour series.
Boss & Co is currently developing its first feature film, MemeLord, a futurist tech thriller that looks at the paranoia of being a woman on the internet, and the development of erotic AI.
